There are 3 price packages available for renters which include; 3 hour rental, 5 hour rental and 8 hour rental. The cost does not cover fuel expenses and pricing changes based on special events, holidays or holiday weekends when demand for boat services is usually high in Chicago. They also do not include the city’s 9pct taxation.
For you to rent a boat with Nautical Chicago Boat Rentals, you must be at least 25yrs of age with an valid US driver’s license. Additionally, you must make a $500 dollar security deposit to the company using a major credit card at the time of rental.
For each of the leasing packages, you are allowed to carry up to the maximum coast guard rated passenger capacity per boat. The rental boats feature Fusion Bluetooth Stereo, 9-inch Chart Plotter, and all necessary safety equipment to ensure your day is safe and fun. The company also allows renters to add 1 extra captain if they want to, which again the person must be above 25 years old and has a valid license.
Alcohol Onboard:
Alcohol is allowed onboard though you must adhere to the local and federal laws concerning drinking and boating. You are free to use the available 60qt cooler to chill your alcohol or other drinks, but the company still allows you to carry your own cooler.
